New knitwear, shorter hair, giving coralicious lipstick a try, just a little Wednesday off. Baking things that remind me of home, lattes with lady friends, list writing, holiday planning, then off to meet for wine soon.

So there goes the sun, it barely showed today. But I caught a gold glimmer reflecting from the windows across the harbour, and all that's left in the sky are soft pink cracks of sunset.

i have not cut my hair in two years now. a timeline of my days away from home, and i have felt natural.
as my blonde curls reach my lower back i think a blunt few inches off would help in these winter months. wonders what the falling snips might do, a new sort of freedom perhaps. and then i will just need some sun on my skin. winter getaways are brewing.

tomorrow's to-do, learn to fishtail braid. this could be a good look for me this summer. and it is definately starting to feel like summer, 24C and a few g&ts before the show tonight. maybe even a cheeky bevie on the bridge (public drinking equals the dog days, right), my new fav neighborhood spot.
