one week until we hit the road and i can't stop smiling (also quitting my job, it's going to be a good friday). by the time we get back it will be september, where did the summer months go?

building last minute deck chairs, packing bicycles and sun hats and looking at maps, real paper maps!
oh the cheese and wine, oh the sun on my skin. this has been long overdue, and now i just dream of getting in the salty surf.

sur la plage

change is coming.  haircuts and handing in my notice, yesterday was a hot one. then meet me on the hill, they had empty bottles and a few olives to toss.  i couldn't sleep because it's all just whirring away.

in a few weeks i hope to be on the road, on the beach, south of france.  before the fall comes, quick.
